Monhegan 2012
That's me painting behind the School House. I had great weather, produced a lot of paintings and had a great time. Notice the cinder blocks I'm sitting on... I borrowed them from behind the building.

Red House at Sunset - SOLD -
I just returned from my annual Monhegan Island Painting trip. This is the famous Red House above Swim Beach. I painted it as the sun was setting behind Manana. The little girl who lives in the house came to talk and watch me as I was frantically painting. At mid point I wasn't satisfied with what I was doing and said ," I might just rub this one out" to which she replied, " Oh, I don't think so"! Fortunately, I stuck with it, and glad I did. In the next few weeks I'll be posting paintings from this years trip.

Off Lobster Cove
I was painting off Lobster Cove early one morning and unbeknownst to me I was being photographed. Elleen McCarney Muldoon introduced herself to me and said she'd sent me the pictures. I looked at her web site www.imageloftphoto.com and was very impressed with what she sees and what see captures. Thanks Eileen!
