Bad Hair Day, Monhegan style

I rescued this snarl of rope from the bottom of White Head. I walked it all the way back to the Trailing Yew, a little over 2/3 of a mile through the wooded trails. I gave it to Rusty, president of the "Frayed Knot Company", so he could turn this old lobster trap rope into beautiful mats, chair seats or decorative hangers. He said it weighed about 50lbs. It was a good haul!
